My journey to becoming a massage therapist actually began later in life at the age of 47. I looked to re-enter the work force and chose to work in the health field as a Home Health Aide. It was my passion for helping others that drove me to search for deeper way to touch lives. That’s when I moved beyond home care and into the massage therapy field.
In 2010 I received my Associates Degree in Applied Science-Massotherapy from the Ohio College of Massotherapy and my licensure from the State of Ohio Medical Board. Although most of my practice is geared towards the general public, other areas of special interest to me are: geriatric massage, women’s musculoskeletal issues due to menopause, grounding therapy and aroma touch therapy.
As a massage therapist my goal has always been to provide each client with the best massage therapy session possible. By using a combination of therapies, I tailor each session to meet my client’s specific needs and desired outcomes. The bottom line is to have my client walk out feeling better than when they walked in.
I haved lived in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 23 years. My husband and I have raised two children and more than a few cats along the way. When I am not doing massage i enjoy time in the kitchen cooking, (usually something Italian), or baking, (usually something chocolate), doing a little bit of coloring(to destress), watching a classic movie or playing cards.
